Students of Paavai Vidhyashram Nursery and Primary School, Salem were taken to the nearby Samayapuram Mariamman Temple on 28/07/17, Friday around 10 A.M. Children were given an exposure to the religious and pious atmosphere of the temple. A special pooja was performed for the main deity and the children and teachers prayed Goddess for their good education and health. On return, they took part in pooja performed in the Vinayakar temple which is situated inside the school campus.Children took part actively in this occasion. This would help them to know about the social and religious events taking part in their surroundings.
