With the Blessings and Guidance of our Chairman Shri.N.V.Natarajan and our esteemed Director Dr.C.Satish, Paavai Vidhyashram Nursery and Primary School always strives to provide holistic education to the students through curricular, Co- curricular and Extra- curricular structured activities.As a part of our extra-curricular field visits, all the students of Paavai Vidhyashram Nursery and Primary School visited the nearby ‘ Bharathi hospital ’ on 23/2/18 (Friday). The chief doctor Dr.Bharathi, Dr.Pradeepa, and the child specialist Dr.Arthipriya greeted and welcomed the children. A memento was presented to the hospital by the children as a token of respect.The children were taken around the hospital by the doctors. Children saw the O.P room, labour room, scan room, x-ray unit, neonatal ICU, operation theatre, laboratory, pharmacy etc., the doctors explained the purpose of each section and children listened to them attentively. Dr.Pradeepa presented a very informative session about the importance of healthy life style. She stressed on healthy habits and insisted to avoid junk food, playing games in mobile phones for a long time, viewing television from a short distance etc. The children interacted with the doctor enthusiastically and raised many questions. Dr.Bharathi and Dr.Pradeepa presented gifts to the children as a token of love.All the students enjoyed the trip very much. Such field visits are intended to broaden their knowledge and to make them part of the society they live in. We would like to place in record our high appreciation and gratitude to the Managing Director and the Doctors, Nurses and other staff of Bharathi Hospital for their hospitality.
