November 14, Paavai Vidhyashram Nursery and Primary School celebrated the Children’s Day and Grandparents day. Celebration was inaugurated by our Director Sir Dr.C.Satish. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Operation begins with the prayer song conducted by our teachers, followed welcome speech by Mrs.Shanthi Abhirami. Sang and dance by the teachers is a memorable one. Some entertaining programs also conducted for the grandparents. The Grandparents also shared their childhood memories with the children. Our Headmistress mam Mrs.Shakila Banu surprised everyone with her solo song. At last our Director sir Dr.C.Satish advised the students to spend their time with the grandparents. He also shared his childhood memories. Children came to school in colorful dress. Children’s are also very happy to see their grandparents participating in the celebration. Chocolates were distributed to the students. The program ends with the vote of thanks by Mrs.Janaki and followed by the National Anthem.
