Paavai Vidhyashram Nursery and Primary School at Salem celebrated its First Annual Sports Meet on 24/08/2017 (Thursday). Shri.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman Paavai Group of Institutions presided over the function. Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Dr.C.Satish Director Paavai Group of Schools, Mr.Rohit Satish Vice Principal Paavai Group of Schools attended the function.The program started with the prayer song. Then, Mrs.Indu Headmistress, Paavai Vidhyashram , Salem welcomed the gathering. All the students performed a colourful Mass Drill. Fun-filled Games like filling the water bottle, Musical chair, Puzzle solving, Bursting the balloons, Trileg race were conducted for the children. Children participated in all the games very enthusiastically. Special games were conducted for the parents and for the supporting staff of the school.Chief Guest Shri.N.V.Natarajan delivered his presidential address. In his speech he mentioned that sports and games makes one strong both in body and in mind. He congratulated all the prize winners and the participants and insisted that participation is the spirit of winning. He thanked the parents for their co-operation. He distributed Cups and Certificates to all the prize winners.Dr.C.Satish Director Paavai Group of Schools gave his keynote address. He assured that much more programmes of high quality will happen in this school in future. He also mentioned that only in Paavai Group of Schools equal emphasis will be given for academics, Sports and fine arts. He congratulated the teachers and students for their excellent performance.Mrs.Srividya, Teacher proposed vote of thanks. The programme ended with National Anthem.
